Francis Boyd Drake is having a bad day. Reduced to working for a telephone sales company, his sadistic boss fires him and then frames him for massive fraud. His wife, sick to death of the endless parade of dilapidated rented homes, leaves him and to top it all his landlady evicts him. It is also on this day that 20-year-old Ziggy enters his crumbling world claiming she is his daughter. Drake denies his paternity, but she refuses to believe him ... and to leave him.
Thrown together at the most improbable juncture these two embark on a darkly comic adventure which may just lead them to redemption and the true meaning of love and family.
