CommentsThe material contains complex and mature themes treated light heartedly within an adventure, fantasy and comedy genre. Themes carry a low to mild impact sense of threat and menace. They explore living in the jungle, starting a new life in a city, abduction, treasure hunting, survival, family love, good versus evil, making friends, feeling lonely, deception and embracing one’s individuality with positive resolutions of doing the right thing and goodness prevailing against evil. The themes of abduction, deception, survival and feeling lonely carry a sense of threat and menace and might be confusing, distressing or upsetting to children under the age of 7 years as they cannot differentiate between reality and fantasy. Moreover, the film is not an animation it shows real visuals with real human characters. Parental guidance is recommended for children aged 7 to 9 years to explain context and offer reassurance.
