Set in early-1970s Harlem, New York, we follow a young couple whose future plans hit a bump when the man is arrested for a crime he did not commit. His pregnant girlfriend and her family struggle to prove his innocence while also juggling the pregnancy. This film arrives with a truckload of awards and nominations, including three Golden Globe nominations and one win.
