Noah (3D)

Rediscover the epic story of one man and the most remarkable event in our history.

Noah (3D)
The first of this year's biblical epics is based on the story of Noah, itself based on the much older Babylonian Epic of Gilgamesh, and with considerable artistic licence, which has upset some religious people around the world. One of the descendants of Adam and Eve, Noah is warned in dreams of an impending disaster and given instructions to build an ark to save himself and his family. In due course the waters arrive, leading to much violence as the population struggles to survive. Noah and family meanwhile discover an unexpected guest. This film is releasing in 2D, 3D and 3D IMAX, this is the 3D version.

C. Fuchs quote iconWhile not perfect (and certainly not consistent in its visual approach, for the most part I liked enough of Noah, its messaging about both a vengeful and forgiving God, and its return to epic scale, Biblically based storytelling.
