The Change-Up

Who says men can't change?

The Change-Up
Two men have been best friends since childhood. One is a hard-working lawyer with a wife and two kids, while the other is a laid-back playboy type. Each is jealous of the other's life. One night they get drunk and Hollywood does its magic (yet again), putting them into each other's body. They wake up in each other's homes, and try to live the other's life, finding it not quite as wonderful as they had imagined. Time goes by and they adjust to their new lives, all the while trying to reverse the magic. However when they do finally get the chance to change back, do they really want to?

Tomatometer quote iconThere's a certain amount of fun to be had from watching Bateman and Reynolds play against type, but it isn't enough to carry The Change-Up through its crude humor and formulaic plot.
