Tomorrow, When the War Began

Where Were You When Everything Changed?

Tomorrow, When the War Began
Australia's top-grossing movie of 2010 hits our screens. Based on the first in a popular series of teen novels, we follow a group of eight high school students who return from a weekend camp to find that Australia has been invaded by some Asian country. Presumably this plays to Aussie fears about being overrun by Asian immigrants. Since the Australian army was hopeless at defending against the invaders, the eight friends decide to sort out the attackers themselves. (And you thought Harry Potter was far-fetched?). This sets the scene for lots of explosions and typical teen action fare.

102 minutes.
No persons under 13 (Language, Violence).
Action, Adventure, Drama, Romance, War.

Not currently showing on the local cinema circuit.

This looks like a good spot for a roll in the hay.
