180° South

Conquerors of the Useless

180° South
A documentary with a message. As a child, Jeff Johnson saw footage of rock climbers and surfers, and decided adventure was for him. He set his mind on tackling a peak in Patagonia, travelling there overland. Halfway through the movie the emphasis shifts from the climbing story to an examination of the perilous state of Planet Earth, and how we need to take better care of it.
