Egoli, the movie followup to the long-running and successful local TV series, is set a few months after the TV series ended. Joe’s past is catching up with him in the film while Nenna still rules Windsor Manor with an iron fist, keeping a firm eye on the volatile Joe. Peggy, a sexy strip teaser, is the new girl in Joe’s life. Niek and Joe now work for the vixen TJ and Joe faces the biggest test in his life. Meanwhile Bienkie and her husband Koert return from Bela Bela with Koert’s adopted ''parents'' Duifie and Faan on their heels. Niek’s feisty wife Sonet has to divide her time between motherhood and breakfast runs on her Harley, but she soon realizes that a ghost in Niek’s past is haunting him.
