Edge of Darkness

Some secrets take us to the edge

Edge of Darkness
Mel Gibson finally returns to the screen after all his bad publicity a few years ago. He sticks to a familiar role, that of a cop seeking revenge slightly outside the law. After his daughter is gunned down in what may have been a case of mistaken identity, he investigates her slimy employer, uncovering all sorts of nastiness. As the action pieces progress, he is joined by an oddball operative. The film is based on an old 6-part BBC series, condensed to movie length.
