Roger Ebert quote iconThe Princess and the Frog inspires memories of Disney's Golden Age it doesn't quite live up to, as I've said, but it's spritely and high-spirited, and will allow kids to enjoy it without visually assaulting them.
15
eye Weekly
Will Sloan quote iconThe film’s style of animation deliberately recalls the Disney Studios’ early-’90s winning streak (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, etc.), but these archetypal characters feel more calculated, and the hyper-paced storytelling leaves little room for emotional investment.
