The House Bunny

Bodaciously going where no bunny has gone before... College.

The House Bunny
A Playboy bunny is kicked out of the Playboy mansion because she, at 27, is now too old. Desperate for somewhere to live, she moves in with a bunch of college girls, all of whom are considered social losers. She decides to help them out with her expert social skills, and soon has managed to turn them into hotties. Meanwhile, her budding romance with a charming young man hits a snag when he realises that he needs someone he can talk to, not just 'someone nice' ... What's a girl to do?

Adam Nayman quote iconHalfway tolerable despite its hack-tastic construction, revolting plot mechanics and dubious messaging.

ReelViews
James Berardinelli quote iconThe House Bunny isn't the worst movie I have ever seen. In fact, it's not even the worst of 2008. But it's bad enough to warrant a heartfelt warning to potential viewers. One wonders if there's a special place in hell reserved for filmmakers who foist this kind of tripe on the public.

C. Fuchs quote iconAs it stands, The House Bunny offers a surprising amount of decent laughs, but suffers from thinking we're watching it for the social commentary and related articles.
