Mirrors

There Is Evil........On The Other Side

Mirrors
After getting suspended, a New York cop drifts into alcoholism. He ends up squatting at his sister's place, while trying to patch things up with his wife and two kids. In an attempt to turn his life around, he takes a job as a night watchman at a burnt-out department store. The previous watchman had polished all the numerous mirrors standing around in the store. Soon, the cop notices the mirrors trying to send him messages, and he decides to investigate. He does not progress fast enough so the mirrors start killing off his family members...

Carl Hiehn quote iconIf the loud bangs and shocking ghosts don’t get your palms sweating, be warned the script is bad enough to make any man let out a shriek.

ReelViews
James Berardinelli quote iconInconsistency makes Mirrors appear illogical and dumb, and director Alexandre Aja's inability to delineate credible or interesting characters results in 110 wasted minutes for anyone unfortunate to wander into an auditorium where this is playing.
