Hollywood has a habit of remaking Japanese horror pics. In this case, it's a Japanese director remaking a Thai horror film with American actors in Japan... A newly-wed couple are in Japan for a working holiday. He's a photographer on a prestige job, keen to make a good impression. They have an accident, hitting a Japanese woman who suddenly appeared in the middle of the road. All attempts to trace her afterwards fail. Then they notice these strange shapes on the photographs, and the wife becomes convinced that its the spirit of the woman they hit, trying to contact them... The film investigates the so-called ''spirit photography''.
