Ushpizin

Ushpizin
Set around the Jewish holiday of Succoch, when faithful Jews build temporary shelters to house guests, in memory of their travels in the desert during Exodus. A devout man and his wife are too poor to buy the necessary equipment, but are saved by a mysterious donation. After setting things up, they are surprised when two criminals from the husband's past arrive and expect to be received as guests. They turn out to be troublemakers, which provides a trying and testing time for the couple's devotion to each other and their religion. In Hebrew and Yiddish with English subtitles.
