Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story


This girl-and-a-horse family movie borrows ideas from Seabiscuit and Racing Stripes. After a horse breaks a leg during a race, and the owner wants to put it down, the trainer quits, taking the horse with him. After nursing it back to health, his daughter starts riding it, and they discover that it can still move. So they set about training it to race again...
