House of Flying Daggers


The followup to ''Hero'' is once again set in the distant past in China, where the ruling empire is under threat. When one of the leaders of a rebel army dies, a new one is elected, and two police officers are dispatched to find and arrest him. They decide to trick a young blind woman, said to be the daughter of the deceased leader, into leading them to the army stronghold. However, the policeman starts to fall in love with her, and as the action progresses, people reveal that they are not all that others thought them to be... In Mandarin with English subtitles.
