Twin Sisters

Based on a best-selling Dutch novel, this is the tale of two sisters, who were seperated at age six. One stayed on a farm in Germany, while the other stayed with rich relatives in Holland. They tried to stay in touch, but their new families intercepted their letters. In adulthood, the Dutch one discovers what happened, and goes to Germany to visit her sister, shortly before the outbreak of WW II. This leads to conflict, as the German sister has embraced the Nazi ideals, while the Dutch sister has a Jewish boyfriend. Dutch and German language with English subtitles.
