The Hours

This film interwines a day in the life of three different women, living in three different decades, and joined together by the novel, ''Mrs. Dalloway''. One of the woman is the author, Virginia Woolfe, another is a typical housewife in the 1950s, while the third is a modern lesbian woman caring for her dying ex-husband. As the day progresses, each woman comes to realise things about herself and the choices she has made in her life.
