A re-release of Disney's classic animated film, this time in the IMAX format. In brief, our heroine offers herself as a captive to a huge beast, so that he will let her father go. As time goes by, she learns to look beyond the obvious and see the inner beauty in the beast.
Note: This film is showing at selected IMAX theatres, it will *not* be coming to Cape Town due to techical limitations in the projection room.

Evita Barbara (49): Beautifully acted, lovely set, lovely tunes - only, the schmaltzy singing of the latter irritated me.

Andreas Lupp (20): Arguably the most beautiful and breathtaking Disney film ever made. It is flawless in its storytelling and has a classic soundtrack that is in the popular conscience. It would be a shame for anybody to miss this film.
