Beefcake

An American-style documentary with re-enactment about the rise of the ''physical culture'' magazines back in the 1950s. These were magazines which claimed to be catalogues of available male models, or health magazines, but were in reality bought by gays who liked admiring scantily clad men. Since other bits of naughtiness like drugs and sex crept in, the cops eventually clamped down. Expect pervasive full-frontal and other male nudity.

Ian Douglas: This is a documentary, my rating reflects that. Don't watch it if naked men offend you. Of course, if you are doing penis comparison studies, you may find it useful :-)
