The film version of the infamous book finally reaches our screens. Based on the Clinton campaign to win the nomination for Democratic Party candidate for US President, the story is told from the viewpoint of a young black man who joins as a campaign leader. The film starts out as a comedy-cum-satire but loses direction somewhat and becomes a political drama. Great performances, and a penetrating examination of exactly how sick the American (and no doubt, South African too) political system really is.

Aruana Zeelie: Very enjoyable. Also very applicable to the current state of politics in America (Clinton debacle). Kathy Bates was excellent in her role and Emma Thompson is one of our finest actresses. Travolta gives a solid performance as the adulterous Governor running for the Presidency. I've always found American Politics to be wacky and this movie proves the point.

Santelle Garces: The first half of the movie is not worth watching, it seems all they do is eat! The other half of the movie is excellent! It is very interesting to see how politics really works.
