Based on a true incident in Australia. A car thief gets out of jail and decides to start a new life. He fixes up an old house and gets an unmarried mother to spend the night to christen the bedroom. However, the next morning, some cops give our hero a hard time. One thing leads to another and we soon have a full-blown hostage drama taking place...
