Win an empty heart and the mounting pressure of doing a live talk show, Bobby loses control on national TV and proclaims his love for Lily, his ex-girlfriend. She is astonished as she watches him unravel, because although she has tried to move on with her life, she has been secretly following Bobby's skyrocketing career.

Bobby heads to New York to find his true love, but between avoiding his crazy agent, and dealing with his circle of outlandish friends and a family, catching her won't be easy.
