A brutal murder is broadcast live on the internet. The public is horrified and fixated at the same time as millions choose to view the carnage.Ultimately it is up to NYPD cop, Charlie Gaines, to track down and eliminate the killer. They quickly enlist the help of a brilliant internet security consultant named Adam to assist in the investigation. It's a deadly game of cat and mouse that is taken to a new level when the killer crosses the line and kills someone close to Gaines.
