Dave's eccentric neighbout Alphonse hatches a fly-by-night scheme to bolster his buddy's sagging fortunes. After staging the sighting of an extinct bird in the neighbourhood, bird watchers and hungry patrons the world over flock to the area. The hoax succeeds far beyond anyone's expectations and business booms, but Alphonse is hiding a few dark secrets which soon has the Auk swirling with controversy. Now with the threat of exposure and the authorities swooping in, will feathers fly?
