Zig Zag
Fifteen year-old ZigZag has a great ability to remember any combination of numbers, including safe combinations. With this skill, he devises a plan to steal money from his boss, Toad, to help his father with the rent for the apartment that they share. When he sneaks into Toad's office, ZigZag intends to only steal $200. However, when he examines the contents of the cash box later he discovers it contains over nine thousand dollars.When Toad realises that the money has been taken, he vows to find the thief and make him suffer. Singer, who is a confidant and surrogate big brother to ZigZag, urges him to return the money. ZigZag agrees to Singer's plan, they will return the cash as soon as they can find a chance to sneak it back into the safe. Their plan is ruined, when ZigZag's father, Fletcher (Wesley Snipes) finds out about the money and steals it all from ZigZag, just before kicking him out of the house.
