Fearing for his life, Cory devises a risky gambling scheme and convinces a former high school classmate and the star pitcher of a renowned baseball team to play a fixed game. Convinced that the plan will work, Cory also convinces his friends to contribute their entire savings to the venture with the promise of big winnings. They risk sacrificing love, loyalty and blood to place their bets and gamble their future on a single wager.
