The Scoundrel's Wife
Early in World War II, prowling German U-boats sank more than 600 merchant ships along America's Atlantic and Gulf coasts, often within sight of land. Against the real dangers and explosive fears of a home front besieged by the enemy, an already outcast and mysterious widow struggles to raise her two children in a small village during World War II. She is suspected of being a saboteur and struggles for redemption, for crimes she did not commit.
