The Simian Line

When Rick (Harry Connick Jr.) invites Arnita, a fortuneteller (Tyne Daly), to the house for entertainment, everything is thrown into disarray with the prediction that ''one couple will be finished by the end of the year''.

The foundations of each of the couple's relationships are shaken and their futures called into question. Initially dismissing the prediction as the words of an eccentric, the characters, one by one, find themselves drawn in to the world of psychic palm reading and tarot cards in an attempt to establish their destinies.
