Me You Them

Three years later and still single, Darlene returns to her hometown and accepts a modest marriage proposal from her humble neighbour Osias (Lima Duarte). Before long, Darlene finds herself in a gruelling work routine while Osias oversees from the comfort of a hammock. Relief comes in the form of a permanent visit from Osias' cousin Zezinho, who can't hide his amorous feelings for Darlene. Their love for each other results in the birth of a child.

Just when Osias and Zezinho are getting used to balancing their unique three-way marriage, along comes Ciro (Luiz Carlos Vazconcelos), a young and handsome drifter who ignites Darlene's untapped passion. But will he joing the ménage, or sweep her away from it all?

Based on a true story, ME YOU THEM was featured Un Certain Regard at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival and was an official selection at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.
