Above and Beyond
Michael (Costas) and Peter (Adam) are more than just partners on the New Orleans Police Force, they are also good friends. But after responding to a domestic disturbance call, a stray bullet from Peter's gun critically injures Michael leaving him paralyzed.Unable to adjust to his new situation, Michael sinks into a deep depression, pushing his wife away. Peter is there to console her. The fellow officers suspect that Peter may have shot his partner so that he could engage in a relationship with his wife. The truth is Peter does love Jill, after all he was the one that originally introduced them.
