The FIRST OF MAY follows the adventures of a lonely foster child, who befriends a forgotten old lady stuck in a retirement home.The two run away together on a journey in search of the family they never had, which leads them to jobs with the world-famous Clyde Beatty-Cole Brothers Circus. On the crusade they find the family they sought... in each other.
