Beautiful Creatures
Dorothy and Petula are thrown together one stormy Glasgow night as they both discover they have major flaw in common... very violent boyfriends. Dorothy is on the run from hers and inadvertently stumbles upon Petula who is being attacked by her drunken boyfriend, Brian.Grabbing the nearest weapon, Dorothy whacks Brian on the head, accidentally killing him. The girls are forced into an increasingly elaborate and dangerous web as they try to cover up their tracks and evade discovery, becoming firm soulmates in the process. Along the way they encounter blackmail, betrayal and revenge, as they fake Brian's kidnap and try to embezzle a million pound ransom from the deceased's gangster brother. RACHEL WEISZ (The Mummy Returns) and SUSAN LYNCH (Nora) give powerhouse performances as the fated female duo. BEAUTIFUL CREATURES is a highly original black comedy thriller with a wicked sense of humour and is definitely not for the faint hearted!
