The Five Senses
A poignant drama pivoting around the five senses and the lives of numerous characters, each searching for significant and intimate human connection.Touch is represented by a massage therapist (Gabrielle Rose) who is treating a woman (Molly Parker), while her daughter (Nadia Litz) accidentally loses the woman's pre-school daughter in the park. The older daughter meets a voyeur (Brendan Fletcher) who represents vision, a professional house-cleaner (Daniel MacIvor) has an acute sense fo smell, a cake maker has lost her sense of taste, and an older man (Phillippe Volter) is losing his hearing. ''The Five Senses'' reminds us that we are only connected to the world through our human relationship. It is a film trusting in life and love.
