Beyond Paradise
Beyond Paradise is a remarkable coming of age story set in on the idyllic island of Hawaii. It is not however all cocktails and dreams for the young Californian Mark, who discovers that the island is not the paradise he sees on postcards.Racial tension between whites and native Hawaiians is ever present. He then befriends three Hawaiians and slowly learns that understanding each other is the best way to face the pressures of growing up.
