Secret Service Agent Alex McGregor (Daryl Hannah) trains constantly with her team of elite bodyguards for a job she hopes she will never have to perform, protecting President Jonathan Hayes (Gregory Harrison) from any life-threatening situation.But between her numerous assignments, Alex finds time to savor her relationship with her boyfriend, the rugged outdoorsman Grant Carlson (Doug Savant). When Grant mentions that he never has enough time with her, the President suggests that Grant come along on an upcoming trip to Seattle. The President is scheduled to take the first ride on Skytram, the multi-million dollar project that will boost both Seattle's tourist economy and his approval rating. As she prepares the security measures for the presidential visit, Alex stumbles across a sinister plot threatening the safety of, not only her team, but the president too.
