Sand

After settling in on the coast, Tyler soon meets Jack, a hardcore young local, who, after initially giving Ty a hard time, tries to make up for it by inviting him out with his friends Max and Andy, as well as helping him find a job and a place to live.

Jack also does Tyler the favour of introducing him to his sister Sandy. Tyler and Sandy start hanging out together, and, before long, they fall in love. However just as things are starting to look up for Tyler, his past catches up with him as his father Gus, his half-brothers, Hardy and Baker, show up on the coast on the lam from the law, and very quickly destroy Tyler's newfound happiness.

Hardy and Baker break into Tyler's house where they encounter Sandy. They begin to play a game of cat and mouse with her which escalates into a violent, distrubing encounter that is cut short at the last possible moment by the fortunate arrival of Gus and Teddy. When Jack discovers that Tyler's brothers have assaulted his sister, he sets out with Max and Andy in search of revenge.

As the stakes rise higher and higher, Tyler is ultimately forced to choose between his loyalty to his family and his allegiance to his new friends.
