Trusting her own intuition, and a little bit of luck, Joline decides to travel to Texas and track him down. When she finds out that Carl is living in a trailer park community in El Paso, Texas, she stakes out his new found home.

While keeping a daily vigil of her husband's activities, Joline befriends Carl's neighbour Neil, a passionate desert artist whose romantic attempts to come between the couple fail. Determined to make her marriage work, Joline hires a medicine man to help bring her husband back to his senses.

But when her spells and voodoo doll commands turn into a full blown obsession, she realises that there's a thin line between commitment and being committed.
