Chasing Destiny

As Jesse and Nehemiah reminisce, they receive several annoying phone calls from a bill collector named Robert Moritz (Casper Van Dien). Moritz uses humiliating tactics and threatens to repossess Jet's classic Thunderbird. Incensed, Jesse makes a few threats of her own and slams the phone down.

A highly romantic, imaginative young poet, Moritz is captivated by Jesse's eloquence and vows to find out more about her. Robert realises that no great poem should go unfinished and he runs wholeheartedly after Jesse. Completely taken by his sincerity, Jesse embraces Robert and willingly follows her heart.
