The Locusts
A sexy drifter (Vince Vaughn) breezes into an isolated farm town in gothic 1950's Kansas and quickly becomes embroiled in the secrets of a bizarre family. The drifter befriends Flyboy (Jeremy Davies), the young son of the family and begins to break down the boy's inhibitions about life and relationships.He also finds himself drawn in by Flyboy's mother, a coldly sedutive widow (Kate Capshaw), and an ambitious young woman (Ashley Judd), who is looking for a way out of Kansas. As the bond between the drifter and the son grows, the mother's jealousy drives her to pit them against each other. As a result, the family is torn apart in a final fit of lust and rage.
