Four teenage boys are on a joyride one night, looking for trouble. When a young girl they were with is found dead the next morning, they find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation. While the boys profess their innocence, Lt. Ingram is determined to put the ''rich kids'' behind bars. Attorney Gail Sterling comes to the boys' defence. When Andrea, a smart young lawyer, gets the boys off on a technicality, three of them are brutally murdered... and everyone realises they had overlooked the real killer from the beginning!
