The White River Kid
Brother Edgar (BOB HOSKINS), and his sidekick, Morales Pittman (ANTONIO BANDERAS) drive across Arkansa selling ''sox for God'' allegedly made by blind children. Their monetary mission is shattered when a 20-year-old outlaw -- ''The White River Kid'' (WES BENTLEY) -- and his fiancée, Apple Lisa (KIM DICKENS), take the duo captive and force them on a wild trip across the state.Along the way, they cross paths with a blind prostitute (ELLEN BARKIN); a singing sheriff (RANDY TRAVIS); and the lovable laughable Weed family (BEAU BRIDGES, SWOOZIE KURTZ and CHAD LINDBERG).
