Nydia is on summer break from Boston University and is visiting her family in New York. They are having difficulty attracting customers to their restaurant until her brother Ricky has a crazy idea that could save the business. He has heard that a local mobster, Fat Tony, is going to be knocked off by the mob. Ricky figures that if Fat Tony is hit in the restaurant, they will get tremendous publicity.He invites Tony to eat for free in the restaurant every day, making sure he is seated prominently near the window. The plan works with hilarious results, but the mob thinks Ricky was involved with the hit. Nydia is reluctantly pulled into her family's crazy problems, causing a wildly comic sequence of events ending in near disaster.
