When Dexter 'Dex' O'Reilly, and his best friend, Matt, accidentally receive a pair of top secret X-ray glasses, a beautiful corporate spy named Vanessa goes undercover as their babysitter to keep the boys safe from Sammy and Dino, the two other corporate spies who want to steal the top secret X-ray glasses.After her poor performance as a babysitter, Vanessa 'fesses-up' and lets Dex and Matt in on her assignment and the two young friends help Vanessa repeatedly ruin Sammy's and Dino's attempts to get into Dex's house and steal the glasses. The X-Ray Kid mixes the laughs and excitement of 'Home Alone' and 'Adventures in Babysitting' with the goofy relationships of 'Weird Science' and 'Risky Business' into one movie that kids will want to see over and over, and their parents won't mind watching a few times themselves!
