Gingy is a former IRA terrorist who, having spent five years in prison, has 'gone south' to stay out of trouble - but now the IRA needs him back.They want to assassinate a prominent Belfast judge, and Gingy is the \only one who can operate the weapon that will strike the fatal blow.
