Geneva Johnson, a budding twelve-year-old mystery writer, and her best friend Tommy Cavanaugh need a lucrative summer job to keep them out of trouble. Their naturally inquisitive nature leads them to 'finding' things for people, starting with missing kittens, wallets and such.With the recent dissapearance of a high school senior, Kelly Harrington, the young duo takes on their biggest case. Under the guise of writting an article for their school newspaper, they begin questioning their usual suspects.
