Maceo, is a gangster, gambler and a slumlord who owns Motorfly, a hot club at the centre of Detroit's riotous underground music scene. He has a problem. He needs big time cash to cover his out of control debts. To get his money, Maceo goes to Motorfly; since tonight is the biggest show of the year, he knows that Pete, the club's manager, can be intimidated into coming up with the dough, Headlining at the club is Lindsay Lord, who seems to be on top of the world. However, Lindsay also has a problem -- this enchantress is an addict who owes a lot of money, and she is being tracked by two money collectors intent on making her pay. Meanwhile, Travis and Janie try to keep the night as calm as possible. And so the stage is set. The players are in town. The fans are fired up. Everyone is ready to rock. All of their lives become intertwined in the madness, but amidst the whirlwind of bands, gangs, cops and killers -- the biggest show of the year must go on.
