Children of the Corn V: Field of Terror
Stephen King's 1977 short story 'Children of the Corn' told of two unlucky visitors to a small Nebraska town inhabited only by children who have killed their parents at the behest of a bloodthirsty corn god -- 'he who walks behind the rows'. In 1984 'Children of the Corn' was turned into a feature film which launched a successful series: 'Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice', 'Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest' and, in 1997, 'Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering', in which the evil god found a new servant, a mysterious black-clad child preacher who became the leader of a deadly cult. The latest and most horrifying chapter in the CHILDREN OF THE CORN series, CHILDREN OF THE CORN V: FIELD OF TERROR, tells the tale of six colege kids on a road trip who take a wrong turn and end up in the seemingly quiet town of Divinity Falls. When they try to leave, they discover an evil force has taken control of the town's children. Now they must choose between escaping and saving the children from the danger that lurks in the darkness.
