Flashpoint
An IRA terrorist and an American CIA agent team up to capture the terrorist's brother, a dangerous and unstable killer, in the action-thriller 'Flashpoint'.The Fallon brothers, Gerry (Foy) and Liam (Xuereb) are totally dedicated to the cause of the IRA and notorious for their expertise with plastic explosives. After the Fallons plot the assasisinaton of the visiting Protestant British dignitary, Gerry calls off the plan when he learns the man's family will be in attendance. In direct defiance of his brother's order, a rebellious Liam sets off the explosives anyway, killing the British representative, his family and a number of innocent bystanders. Feeling abandoned by the IRA, he then turns his gun on his own brethren and wounds Gerry before he escapes. American CIA agent Adam Hall (James Brolin) is brought in, but he has his own personal reasons for wanting to bring Liam Fallon to justice. Hall will do anything to bring Liam down, including partnering with a terrorist like Gerry Fallon.
