Hi all

Another hectic week. On the bright side, there’s previews all over this
weekend, and some on Thursday night, for Fast & Furious 6, which proves
you don’t need a spandex costume to be a superhero.

Releasing this week we have Baz Luhrmann’s opulent remake of The Great
Gatsby, as well as Stallone doing what he does best for his fans.

Fast & Furious 6

The popular stars re-unite for the sixth edition of this high-adrenaline series. Since Dom’s and Brian’s Rio heist left their crew with $100 million, they have scattered across the globe. But, their inability to return home, living forever on the run, has left their lives incomplete. Meanwhile, Hobbs has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries. Aurangzeb

The story follows a real estate developer in Gurgaon known for illegal works, facilitated by his top crew member who leaves no evidence after a job is done. The police department then capture this man and torture him, while sending out a lookalike to replace him. The double joins the crew and becomes an informer, while the original fixer is being tortured into revealing all of his boss’ business secrets. In Hindi language with English subtitles.

We follow a young couple who have known each other since children, and who have now started growing apart in their life roads. Each becomes involved with someone else, leading to great unhappiness and tragedy.

Bernie

In a tiny, rural town in Texas, assistant funeral director Bernie Tiede was one of the town’s most beloved residents. He taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone loved and appreciated Bernie, so it came as no surprise when he befriended, an affluent widow who was as well known for her sour attitude as her fortune. Bernie frequently traveled with her and even managed her banking affairs. She quickly became fully dependant on him and his generosity but he struggled to meet her increasing demands. He continued to handle her affairs, and the townspeople went months without seeing her. They were shocked when it was reported that she had been dead for some time, and he was being charged with her murder.
